Amy Horany, Principal Designer of Amy Kate Interiors, is a Fort Worth-based interior designer with a passion for creating classic, one-of-a-kind interiors. She is best known for her eclectic, laid-back, yet timeless aesthetic.
Amy’s vision for every project is to breathe life back into the home. Her inviting aesthetic strives to tell the story of who you are as an individual or family; turning your empty house into a character-filled, warm & welcoming home.
Amy’s love for interior design developed at a very young age, and has only grown stronger over the decades. Her natural eye for design, passion for the industry and artistic background quickly led her to acquiring clients throughout the DFW area. For more than a decade, Amy’s been able to provide freelancing services to clients both locally and virtually. With nearly 12 years under her belt, Amy recently expanded; opening her new Full Service interior design studio in Fort Worth, Amy Kate Interiors.
Born with a passion for interior design, Amy has always been driven to share her love and knowledge for design with others.
Since 2012, she has shared her professional design insight with other design fanatics; providing attainable tips and advice through the world of blogging. Though rewarding, her dream since childhood has been to partner with a dedicated production company to bring her vision and design tips to life on the small screen.
With her eclectic style, she brings something new to the screens; designing spaces that connect with a vast majority of viewers, yet still throwing in unexpected splashes of quirky design decisions.
Amy and her family live in one of the fastest growing (and BEST cities EVER), Fort Worth, Texas. Amy’s a wife to her husband Chad and mom of two; Hudson (7) and Harper (6).
